It is a bit of a pain to have all these cookie consent messages pop up on all the different websites all the time. Youd think that we all have got the message by now!

Nick created the topic: Cookie consent
The EU (European Commission) in all their wisdom decided a while ago that all websites from the EU should inform their users about the use of little files called cookies. This, I believe, is in the interests of privacy, as these files can place cookies on your computer which allow other computers to discover and track your usage across the internet. Here is their link:

ec.europa.eu/ipg/basics/legal/cookies/index_en.htm

Cookies are also used to store personal information and they help websites to remember user's preference information which you might have inputted into the websites forms.

We have now implemented a notice which informs users that we do use cookies on this website. There is also a link to a page which outlines our use of cookies, which can be found here:

www.myinternationalshopping.com/information/cookies

We don't use cookies to identify users and we don't pass any of this information on. We do use third party advertisers and social media tools, which will also use cookies and they may use such information in different ways. These can be found by following the links to their websites.

I hope this helps and explains why we now have the cookie consent message at the top of the website.
